Mark McPherson to board bus and tell Major Horace Gray’s story

Hometown History Tours is pleased to announce that actor, author, historian Mark McPherson may step aboard the Glory, Valor & Sacrifice Southeast Michigan Civil War Remembrance Tour bus in front of the former Major Horace Gray home and provide a brief history on the Major.

McPherson lives in the beautiful Grosse Ile home once occupied by Major Gray and his family. McPherson and his wife Dr. Dori McPherson have lovingly cared for the home and maintain a beautiful garden.

McPherson has done extensive research on Major Gray, and if he is able to fit our itinerary into his schedule, he’ll be happy to share a few words. We’re hoping he can meet our schedule as MarkMcPherson it will be a major coup for the tour.
