Edward D. Gerten is the Winery Operations Manager for Pentamere Winery LLC located in Tecumseh, Michigan since 2005. Ed is also an instructor for the Culinary Studies Department at Jackson Community College.  Courses Ed teaches include Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Cost Control, and Beverage Service. 

Ed represents Pentamere Winery at the Southeast Michigan Pioneer Wine Trail meetings. He also serves as the Southeast Michigan Pioneer Wine Trail Board of Director’s representative for Wine Michigan, a wine industry legislated organization.   

Pentamere Winery is Michigan’s first urban winery and one of Michigan’s smallest wineries. The winery is one of the five original member wineries of the Southeast Michigan Pioneer Wine Tail.
