Yolanda Uddin is the Chief Operations Officer at the beautiful Historic First Congregational Church of Detroit also known as Old First. In her position, she handles the marketing of Old First’s rental facilities, hospitality services, and group tours of the Underground Railroad Living Museum.
She supervises a dedicated staff that works hard to make every event held at Old First extra special so that the church maintains its reputation as a popular year-round venue for banquets, meetings, reunions, weddings and receptions.
Yolanda also oversees the following two special projects administered by Old First: Detroit Area on Aging Employment/Training Program for seniors and disabled persons and BABES INC., a youth substance abuse prevention program.
A Detroit resident, a member and Deacon at Old First, Yolanda is married and the mother of four adult children. When not working, she enjoys entertaining at home, spending time with family, and mentoring young people.
